DevOps may seem a buzzword to many, but it is a new but essential business-driven delivery approach.   It involves the business owner as well as the development, operations and quality assurance departments to collaborate in continuously deliver the software /product/service.  The continuity helps the enterprise to gain market advantage, which is vital in today’s market condition. 

Enterprises wanting to create innovative applications to solve business problems need to apply agile and lean principles to maximize the speed of delivery of ideas into a product or service.  But in spite of using these methods, many organisations are not able to meet the challenges of development and delivery, for not having effective teams.  This inability leads to missed business opportunities.
